Claudia completed a Masters Degree in Sociology at Queen’s University. She then worked for ten years as an Assessment Counselor in North York with developmentally challenged individuals. She is married to Allan Firhoj (Bishop’s graduate) with whom she has two children (Amali 10, and Dane 8).  She returned to school in 2000 and received an Education degree from the University of Toronto.  Claudia writes: “I have been a teacher with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School board in Mississauga since that time and this year I am teaching Grade Six”.
