In September 2004 Sunday begins her Masters in Social Work at Laurier University. Sunday has been working at the YMCA of Greater Toronto as a Job Developer and Employment Counsellor. She writes: “I worked as both a Job Developer and Employment Counselor, and held the position of Team Leader for the Job Connect Program (funded by the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities).  The goal of this program is to assist youth, between age 16 and 24, to secure meaningful employment. Often the youth have multiple barriers to employment, including homelessness, addictions, and family disruptions.  Working in this field is both professionally and personally rewarding.  My Sociology degree from Bishop's provided me with many transferable skills, but most importantly an awareness of social diversity within our Canadian society.”
