Sneha (Suzie) Mathew (Class of 2001)

Suzie writes: “My first job after graduation was in a private Montessori school. While there I was offered a great job by one of the parents which I couldn't pass up. I work as an International Sales Representative and Product Consultant for a Danish Ergonomics company (ERGOMAT). I am currently stationed in Quebec, but I work for the Ohio Office as well. It is definitely a fun job, with the best boss, who runs both offices in the Danish style.  He gives us complete freedom as long as we get the job done.  We can come and go as we please, and are allowed to take a vacation whenever we please.  My boss believes in sending his employees on an all-inclusive paid vacation if the employee has been doing his/her job properly.  So, you can just imagine why I love this job so much.  With this job, I do a lot of traveling within Canada and the US, and participate in Health and Safety Trade Shows.  I meet people from all walks of life, and build connections everywhere.  At present, some of our biggest clients are companies such as General Motors, Honda, Abbott Labs, and Toyota.  One of my personal big clients is Bombardier Canada.  Even though my education at Bishop's had nothing to do with my field of work, it has certainly helped me.  Dr. Coulter definitely influenced my life in several ways.  All the talks we have had helped me to gained confidence to deal with life with a smile on my face. He always believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and his support and positive words are still highly appreciated today.”
