Sidney writes: “I recently started my own company called UCIT Online ("You See It Online"). We specialize in Digital Video Surveillance and Remote Monitoring Solutions which can be accessed over the Internet in real time. We also digitize existing analog video surveillance systems which makes it possible to view them online in real-time, and more practical for our customer. Currently most video surveillance systems just record all the Information which is then accessed only after an incident, however UCIT Online allows the customer to view his cameras at anytime from anywhere. We just installed 2 cameras for the new construction at the Royal Ontario Museum.  These cameras are being used for security however they are also being used by the construction company and architects who can view them in real time without ever leaving their office. The images are also broadcast live on their website for the public to see (www.rom.on.ca).
