Linton is the Assistant Vice-President of Community Partnerships at Foresters (an international financial services organization) in Ontario. Linton writes: “My team manages the external charitable partnerships in North America and tries to deliver marketing benefits back to the organization. I have been working in the field of Cause Marketing for six years. Before Foresters, I was the National Community Relations Manager at Hudson's Bay Company and was responsible for their cause marketing and philanthropic platforms for the Bay, Zellers and Home Outfitters. After Bishop's I traveled to Europe and Australia/New Zealand. I completed my post graduate education at Humber College. Since then I have been working in public relations, communications, special events, marketing and now cause marketing at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Branksome Hall, Krug Furniture, Bell Sygma, the MS Society, Royal Bank Financial Group, Hudson's Bay Company and now Foresters. …I am married to James Darling, a Laurier graduate and a private school teacher of English and Drama. We have two incredible little boys (Colin and Alex). Studying sociology at Bishop’s gave me my own perspective and taught me to appreciate life and question its meaning. Since then, I have always enjoyed and appreciated alternative thinking and expression in the arts. I learned a lot about life from Michael Lustigman and think of him fondly.”
