Steve and his wife Lisa live in Toronto. He has been employed with the Correctional Service of Canada for eight years in various Administrative and Management positions progressing at a steady pace to the rank of Correctional Supervisor at Fenbrook Medium Security Institution in Gravenhurst, Ontario.  Such a position entails enormous responsibility and accountability. In 1999 Steve moved back to Toronto where he works as a Parole Officer with the High Risk Supervision Unit and Keele Community Correctional Center for high/risk and violent offenders.  Steve writes: “At this point in time, in order to qualify for a Parole Officer position, one must have a degree in Sociology, Psychology, or Criminology. Bishop’s assisted me in developing commitment to getting my work done on time and remaining focused at the task at hand.”
