Lorra is an OPP Detective Constable with the Illegal Gambling Enforcement Unit.  Lorra writes: “After graduation I backpacked throughout Europe.  I was hired in December 1993 by the Ontario Provincial Police and started at their academy in January 1994.  Since joining the OPP I have worked in uniform at the Wingham and Caledon Detachment.  I went from working in uniform patrol to the Toronto Drug Enforcement Unit and then onto the Illegal Gambling Unit as a Detective Constable.  I have two daughters (Annie and Sophie).  …My studies in Sociology have given me a basis of knowledge that have and will continue to assist me in my career as a police officer.” She is married to Bob Deasy.
