Barbara is a Fitness Instructor teaching step, sculpting, interval, spinning, yoga and Pilates. She is married to Mark Schweitzer (since June 1983) with two children (Danielle and Erika). She writes: “I have completed five marathons to date and plan on continuing my running.  Participating in the Multiple Sclerosis 150 mile bike ride last summer has sealed my commitment to outdoor cycling as well.  Mark works as a Project Manger for EMC.  We moved to Pittsburgh from Vermont in the summer of 1995 and have enjoyed living here.  Our oldest daughter Danielle plays trumpet in the marching band and piano at home taking part in local and regional competitions with the high school band.  Our youngest daughter Erika has enjoyed playing soccer for many years and continues on with her Tae Kwon Doe receiving her black belt this year.”
