The UN Club sends a delegation to the National Model United Nations, held at the Hilton in New York each year. Over 150 universities and colleges from North America and Europe participate during the week long event which begins and ends in the UN National Assembly. Bishop’s University’s National Model United Nations team has developed a reputation as a strong participant in the simulation. Since 2001, different teams have come home with honourable delegation awards (3), outstanding position paper awards (1) and distinguished delegation awards (1). We hope that the 2008 team will continue this strong performance through hard work, in depth preparation, and dedication.
