Courses & Programs

The Department of Economics offers Honours, Major and Minor programmes in economics.

The Honours programmes are the most intensive and provide the greatest exposure to the discipline. The Major programmes are less specialized and allow the student to take a wider range of complementary courses or even to add a major or a minor in another discipline. For example, a popular choice is to combine a Major in Economics with a BBA in Finance.

The Minor in economics is the least specialized programme and is added to your major or minor from another discipline once studies are in progress at Bishop's.

We also offer a major and honours programs in International Political Economy.
