The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN is now fully in operation after many years of construction. The long awaited results are beginning to make serious impact on major theories of physics beyond the Standard Model. After giving an overview of the LHC project, of the LHC and ATLAS detectors, and of the rich physics program of study, I will give the status of the search for the Higgs boson, supersymmetry, and some exotic physics searches.

Coffee and cookies will be served starting at 2:15 p.m.
