Newtonian gravity contains two g’s: one (g, the acceleration of gravity) governs our life on Earth. The other (G, Newton’s constant), rules the motion of planets around the Sun and shapes planets, galaxies, and their evolution. How are the two g’s related? How does G shape our planet and the surface or a star? In this talk we will become acquainted with the fascinating universal constant G.
