Abstract
RF heating systems in the Ion Cyclotron Resonance Frequency (ICRF) range constitute an essential part of all present-day experiments aimed at realization of controlled nuclear fusion with magnetic confinement. The seminar will address the key elements of the ICRF physics and engineering and the ITER ICRF system (20MW, ~50MHz) will be presented in detail.
