  • Non-Governmental organizations such as environmental interest groups and professional organizations.

and other occupational fields related to the environment. Fields of work may include alternative energy sources and technologies, aquaculture, biotechnologies, education, environmental medicine, geology, pollution and hazardous materials monitoring and control, natural parks, site remediation, soils, waste management, water resources, and weather forecasting.

Many students earning a degree in Environmental Science continue their education and training with M.Sc., Ph.D., or other degrees.
