Research interests include physical chemistry of polymers and polymer solutions as well as the use of polymers as supports for organometallic catalysts. Specifically, the behavior of block copolymer aggregates in solution and how their physical chemistry interacts with chemical modification of the polymer, such as functionalization with organometallics. Related block copolymer based systems are being investigated for other applications ranging from drug delivery vehicles to nano-reactors for controlled synthesis of quantum dots and nanoparticles. As a result, new information and understanding of these systems has the potential to impact many related fields.
