As an International Student, you must follow the procedure below in order to be considered for admission.

- Please complete the electronic goBishops online application form.
NOTE: A non-refundable $60 application fee, payable by credit card, will be collected at the time of application submission. - Request official copies of your secondary school, college, and/or university transcripts in the original language and with official English translation. They should be sealed, stamped, or certified by an official of the school. Any additional information about your school's grading system and course content will help in assessing your application.
- If your mother tongue is not English and you have not studied for at least one full year in English, you must submit TOEFL, IELTS, or MELAB results. Please do not mail photocopies. Instead, inform the testing office to send your test results directly to us.
- TOEFL minimum score of 580 (paper-based); 237 (computer-based); 90 (Internet-based)
- IELTS minimum score of 6.5
- MELAB minimum score of 85
- Students from the United States must submit SAT and/or ACT results.
- SAT minimum combined score of 1650 (writing, critical reading, mathematics)
- ACT minimum score of 23.
- Mail a photocopy of your passport.

ADMISSIONS INFORMATIONS
Because enrolment is limited, admission is moderately selective. Our Admissions Committee reviews each international application on an individual basis and accepts only those with high academic standing.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
- High scholastic achievement at the secondary, college, and/or university level, as applicable
- Sufficient English proficiency as outlined above
LENGTH OF DEGREE PROGRAM
In general, students who have successfully completed their secondary school studies equivalent to Canadian Grade 12 are admissible to a four-year program. Students having completed A-Level exams with grade “C” or better, an IB diploma with final score of 28 or greater, or a Baccalauréat Français with final score of 12 or greater (and mention “assez bien”) may be entitled to advanced standing credit.
Some programs have specific course prerequisites. If accepted by Bishop's, you would be expected to fulfill these requirements if they were not completed during your pre-university studies.
Immigration procedures
To study in Québec you will need two documents:
- The provincial Ministry of Cultural Communities and Immigration of Québec (M.C.C.I.) will issue the Certificate of Acceptance/Certificat d'acceptation (C.A.Q.).
- The federal Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada will provide the Study Permit/Permis de séjour.
