Our Facilities:
Music Library
Dedicated to the founder of the Music Department, the Howard Brown Music Room is housed in the larger John Bassett Memorial Library located in the centre of campus. This intimate space offers students the opportunity to browse the CD and LP collections directly as well as a wide variety of scores and books. Large reading tables and modern electronic equipment allow visitors to listen and score study in this inviting space.
As part of the course MUS 300 (Research and Bibliography) students take an active role in the surveying and maintaining of the collection by compiling a list of scores, books and recordings that is later presented to the acquisitions department in order to keep the collection up to date.
