(2011-2012)

This year, the following Prizes have been granted to the following students:

  • The Ambassador of Spain Prize - Student graduating with high academic standing in a Major in Hispanic Studies: Anne DELBECCHI

  • The Hispanic Studies Section - Student graduating with high academic standing in a Minor in Hispanic Studies: Adam LAVERACK

  • UNAM: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Escuela de Extensión en Canadá). A book prize awarded to a non-graduating student with high academic standing in either a Major or a Minor in Hispanic Studies: Amelia QUESSY

Bursary

(2012-2013)

  • Nuevos Recuerdos Bursary
    This bursary of $500 is awarded to a student registered in a Major in Hispanic Studies for “participation in an exchange programme at a partner institution in Spain for the duration of either one or two semesters”. This year’s winner is Marianne Archambault (Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, Spain)
  • Nuestra América Bursary
    
This new bursary of $1500 is awarded to a student registered in a Major in Hispanic Studies for “participation in an exchange at a partner institution in Mexico, Central America or South America for the duration of either one or two semesters”. This year’s winner is Janie Carrier (Universidad de Concepción)
  • Viva España travel bursary
    Awarded annually of $1,000 to a student majoring in Hispanic Studies studying on a University approved exchange in Spain. This year’s the winner is Alysha Bertrand (Universidad de la Rioja, Spain)

  1. Nuevos Recuerdos Bursary
    This bursary of $500 is awarded to a student registered in a Major in Hispanic Studies for “participation in an exchange programme at a partner institution in Spain for the duration of either one or two semesters”. This year’s winners are Ivana Eric and Emilio Puerta.

  2. Nuestra América Bursary
    This new bursary of $500 is awarded to a student registered in a Major in Hispanic Studies for “participation in an exchange at a partner institution in Mexico, Central America or South America for the duration of either one or two semesters”. This year’s winner is Maria Alice d'Aoust.
