(Class of 2001; Honours History/Minor German Studies/Minor Anthropology)

After finishing my Minor in German Studies at Bishop's (and my B.A.), I moved to Germany where I spent 18 months teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have since moved to England where I work for a large travel company as a Business Analyst.

While I do not now directly use my language studies, they have helped me in my job (and life) by forcing me to think beyond the boundaries of what I could do by trying something that I wasn't necessarily good at (not being a "language" person naturally).
