(Class of 2001; Major Geography/Minor German Studies)

I am Marketing and Sales Manager for Jay Peak Ski and Summer Resort, Jay, Vermont. Thanks to my B.A, I am more open with clients from abroad. Those who speak German I am able to greet and converse with and make feel more welcome at our resort. Knowing more about the world as a result of my Geography Major and my travels, and knowing more about German speaking countries as a result of my Minor in German is something that I would never change. I am more worldly and more aware of what’s going on across the globe. With a large percentage of our business being international, having a base knowledge of German and being fluent in both English and French has helped me succeed with my job.
