(Class of 2006; Major Modern Languages with concentrations in German Studies and Italian Studies/Minor Hispanic Studies)

Upon completion of my B.A., I started working at the reception in a hotel in downtown Montreal. My ability to communicate in 5 different languages helped me on a daily basis. I am currently working as administrative assistant at Softitler Canada, Inc., a company that takes care of subtitling and close captioning for major motion picture studios. I supervise and help with the German translations. I am thinking of perhaps starting a certificate in translation (French-German) at Université de Montréal in a year or two
