Written in the 19th Century by the famous brothers Grimm, The Town Musicians of Bremen tells the story of a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster who after years of being mistreated flee from their masters threatening to kill them. They decide to leave for the town of Bremen where they hope to make a living as street musicians. On their way to Bremen, they find a house in the woods and decide to try a first musical performance for its inhabitants. The latter – two robbers – are so scared by the "music" they hear that they run away only to come back later that night...

Écrit au XIXe siècle par les frères Grimm, Les musiciens de Brême raconte l’histoire d’un âne, d’un chien, d’un chat et d’un coq qui, après des années de mauvais traitements par leur maître respectif et la menace d’être abattus, décident de partir pour la ville de Brême où ils comptent gagner leur vie en devenant musiciens de rue. Sur le chemin de Brême, ils trouvent une maison dans la forêt et décident de tenter une première performance musicale pour ses habitants. Ces derniers – deux voleurs – sont si apeurés par la "musique" qu’ils entendent qu’ils s’enfuient. Ils reviendront toutefois à la nuit tombée...
