SWEET, the Student Writing Weekend in the Eastern Townships, is a biennial event. The first was hosted at Bishop’s University from March 16 to 18, 2012. The weekend featured intimate workshops, delivered by professional authors and lectures by writing professionals to provide students with the tools to improve their creative literary endeavours and to interact with established professionals in the field. The weekend also included readings by our guest authors, a reception, and a poetry slam.
