Students Seeking To Excel Program Seminar Series

This is a seminar series developed and hosted by the department of English in collaboration with other departments and faculties at Bishop’s University.
The objectives would be to ensure our students have the necessary skills to succeed

  1. within their undergraduate program
  2. once they leave BU for grad school and/or
  3. when they enter the job market.

These skills include clear and effective writing, close reading skills, time management, and study skills. The seminar series is also designed to equip students with information and guidance once they graduate from Bishop’s, whether they choose to enter the job market, embark upon post-graduate studies, or work/travel overseas. The STEP series is available to all students, staff, and faculty at Bishop’s University and is designed to complement the rigorous liberal arts education offered by our university.
