Amy Lavoie - 2007
I went into the Bishop's Drama program completely open, promising myself I would take advantage of every opportunity I was given. As a result, a deep appreciation of theatre grew within me and I understood, by the end, that I needed to contribute to the stage. I pursued a dream to act and found, a little later on, the gift of playwriting. The instructors and guest artists gave me the tools and confidence to be able to apply to the National Theatre School of Canada. I am fortunate enough to be pursuing that dream presently. I acknowledge all that Bishop's has done for me often and with great fondness.
