Paul Clark (B.A. 1989; Dip.Ed. 1990)

Paul Clark is the Executive Director of the International Office. He is responsible for the administration and supervision of all of the activities of the office. He has extensive experience in educational research and development in East and Southeast Asia and is currently working with distance education delivery models.

From 1995-1997 Dr. Clark worked in South Korea developing Teacher training programs in English as a second language, working closely with the South Korean government. Then from 1997-1999 he worked on educational development projects in the Philippines. He designed curriculum, trained teachers, and built whole schools in some of the most isolated areas of the Philippine archipelago.

Recently, he has investigated and experimented with the use of multimedia, World Wide Web technology, and WebCT course templates to deliver undergraduate teacher education courses.

Dr. Clark is a member of the Faculty of Education. His research interests include gender issues, educational technology, and comparative education research methods. He is a graduate of Bishop’s University (B.A. 1989; Dip.Ed. 1990) and McGill University (M.Ed. 1995; Ph.D. 2001). He can be contacted by telephone at (514) 398-3529
