A few simple Do's and Don't's of auditioning:
Do: ...select a speech by a character who is close to your own age
Do: ...read the whole play from which the speech has been taken
Do: ...wear neutral clothing (no T-shirts with slogans or splashy graphics ) that allows freedom of movement
Don't:...go over the stated time limit. (3 min. usually means 3 min.)
Don't:...direct your speech to the auditioner if you are doing a stage audition
