If you are interested in taking part-time courses for credit or as an audit student without formally entering a certificate or degree program at the University, you must apply for part-time general interest student status through Continuing Education. Part-time general interest students may register in a maximum of 11 credits per semester. If a part-time general interest student wishes to join a certificate or degree program at Bishop’s, he/she must make formal application to the university at www.gobishops.ca in respect of the published application deadlines. If admitted, credits accumulated as a part-time general interest student could apply to the certificate or degree program.
Eligibility
In order to register as a part-time, general-interest student, you must meet both of the following criteria:
- Be a resident of the Eastern Townships
- Be a minimum of 19 years of age by the first day of classes
