Complete Immersion
- Accelerated Programme: 25 hours of classes per week;
- Experienced ESL professors;
- English speaking campus and environment;
- Learning appropriate expressions;
- Corrective grammar and pronunciation;
- Language and computer lab with audio-visual resources;
Social and Cultural Activities
- Excursions to local tourist attractions with guided tours in English;
- Live performances at the Piggery Theatre;
Cost of Programme
Cost: $1,025.00 per week (includes food, lodging, tuition & activities)
Includes programme fees from your arrival Sunday afternoon to Friday at 12 pm. Participants registering for more than one week, will receive a rebate of $50.00 for week 2 and $100.00 for week 3.

About the Programme
- This intensive English programme has been offered by Bishop's University since 1987.
- The historical campus is in an English region, founded by Loyalists who arrived from the United States at the end of the 18th century.
- Upon your arrival on campus, we will assess your level of English by means of a written and oral placement test.
- Language monitors will organize and participate in social and cultural activities with you to maximise your conversation during your stay.
- Free access to the modern Sports Centre which includes: tennis, squash, aerobics, pools (interior and exterior), weight training room, etc.
- Participants in the past have included professionals from all walks of life such as : lawyers, psychologists, judges, government staff, employees from small and medium-sized businesses and manufacturing industries, all from regions in Quebec and throughout the world.
- During all meals and activities, the participants will discuss and communicate with professors, animators, the University community and other student groups on campus in English.
- The programme’s success is due to small classes and the individual attention received during your weekly stay.
- Photocopies are furnished and books are lent to the students for the duration of the programme.
