The General Business Management concentration allows students to design their own concentration stream. Students may select courses from any other stream based upon their personal interest and objectives. Business Management courses are designed to expose students to areas of study that integrate the traditional business functional areas. Topics may include: basic research methods, change management, interpersonal skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
To complete a B.B.A. with a General Business Management concentration students are required to complete the following courses: The following program requirements are specific to students entering in the Fall 2011 semester. - 42 credits of required Business Core courses which are composed of ECO102, ECO103, BMA140, BMA141, BAC121, BAC221, BFN200, BCS220, BHR221, BMG112, BMG215, BMG311, BMK211, BMS231
- ILT100, a 1 credit information literacy and critical thinking lab course, is required for all business students.
- 21 credits of 300-level Business courses
- 9 credits of free electives within or outside of Business
- 18 credits of free electives outside of business for 90 credit B.B.A. students OR 48 credits of free electives outside of business for 120 credit B.B.A. students (18 credits of which may be business courses).
