Employers who hire students in Quebec may be eligible to receive a tax credit towards the co-op student’s salary. For more information regarding the Québec tax credit, click here.
Once the student has successfully completed the work term, the Co-operative Education Office will fill out the appropriate form to attest to the organization’s participation in the Co-op Program. Once the form is received by the organization, it is their responsibility to fill in the remaining paperwork and claim it for the appropriate tax year.
