“This group speaks to the merits of the liberal arts approach to education at Bishop’s,” said Principal Michael Goldbloom, “Having studied in a variety of academic disciplines, these remarkable individuals are now prominent business leaders, dedicated public servants, leading educators, researchers, and artists.”

Bishop’s will welcome these ten accomplished young graduates back to campus at Homecoming (October 1 – 3, 2009) to celebrate their success with the Bishop’s community and involve them in a number of events with students and faculty. More than simply a recognition or networking event, members of the Top 10 After 10 class will have several opportunities to share their knowledge and advice with current students.

“The selection committee was overwhelmed by the quality of nominations received,” said Chancellor Griffin. “Narrowing down the group was a challenge and we look forward to choosing a new group of outstanding graduates next year.”

Bishop’s University is renowned for its intimate learning environment, exceptional professors and outstanding student services. Bishop’s prides itself on delivering a student-focused education of the highest quality and is committed to developing the talents and leadership qualities of its students who come from across Canada and around the world.
